Joey and I are thrilled to announce that The Lord has blessed us with a healthy baby boy, Grayson Maverick Kingston Quintana! We are awaiting the most precious Christmas gift of all, due 12-18-13.

Hi everyone and thank you for all that continue to check back and read my blog!

I am sure your all wondering when I am going to finish Kingston’s story. Well, I have just been waiting for the right time when it can just flow easily from my mind and memories. Lately it has been kind of hard to think back and try to complete it. I don’t want to force it out, so I am playing the waiting game.

In the mean time I am going to try and blog daily. You know, about life, work, my family and whatever else pops into this overly packed mind of mine! Bare with me, I am still totally learning the whole blog thing :)

Hi, my name is Rachelle. I have an amazing husband and 4 beautiful children. I have finally worked up the courage to start this blog. It’s something friends and family have been suggesting I do for the past 2 years. I have a story to tell and hopefully through my story, others can find strength and hope to move forward in tough situations.

My husband and I have 4 children,1 girl and 3 boys. Our daughter Kaylisse is 9, our son Mathias is 4, and Kingston & Maverick are our angel babies in Heaven.

In 2011 my husband and I lost our son, Kingston to severe congenital heart defects caused by a rare disorder called Heterotaxy Syndrome. He was 11 1/2 months old. About 3 months after losing Kingston, we found out we were expecting our 4th child Maverick due in March of 2012. When we were about 12 weeks pregnant we found out that Maverick had the same rare disorder as Kingston, with similar heart defects. Maverick was here with us almost 9 months before passing away on November 23, 2012.

In the last 2 years we have suffered great loss. Our hearts are forever broken and we will miss Kingston and Maverick every passing moment of every day. Birthdays will go by, holidays, anniversaries of their passing and we will think of them. We are at peace with the events that have happened to our family and we are blessed at how strong we have become through it all. The Lord has given us so much to be thankful for and he has carried us through these times.

Deuteronomy 31:6 – “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”
